The esthetics course specializes in preventative skin care and offers instruction to keep skin healthy and attractive.

The esthetics course consists of instruction of both theoretical and practical skill development required for licensure by the Alabama State Board of Cosmetology & Barbering.

Theory and practical precede laboratory activities and students must complete basic esthetics curriculum which demonstrates competence in both theory and practical skills before being allowed to participate in laboratory activities.

Theory and practice are integrated throughout the course.
